iOS 26.4 adds new emoji to your iPhone, here’s what’s coming

iOS 26.4 beta 4 rolled out today for developers, and it includes a number of brand new emoji for iPhone users. Here are all the new emoji coming with iOS 26.4.

New emoji coming with iOS 26.4 are available now in beta

Every year, a group called the Unicode Consortium votes to approve a new batch of emoji that will later be added to the iPhone, as well as other platforms like Android, Windows, and more.

The iOS 26 batch of new emoji were officially approved last summer, but now they’re being added to the iPhone with iOS 26.4.

Available in today’s beta 4 release are the following new emoji:

  • Ballet Dancers
  • Distorted Face
  • Fight Cloud
  • Hairy Creature
  • Landslide
  • Orca
  • Trombone
  • Treasure Chest

Even though Apple Intelligence enables iPhone users to create their own ‘Genmoji,’ the above emoji are important additions because they join the cross-platform emoji standard.

So once iOS 26.4 and other compatible updates ship, you’ll be able to send and receive these emoji easily across various messaging platforms.

If you want a sneak peek into new emoji coming with iOS 27, the current candidates—which haven’t yet been approved—are available here. They include leftward and rightward thumb sign gestures, a meteor, smiley face with squinting eyes, an eraser, and more.

What do you think of iOS 26.4’s new emoji? Any potential favorites? Let us know in the comments.
