Total Wireless wants to give you a ‘gorgeous’ Motorola phone for only $50 — here’s the deal

Wireless carriers provide some of the best phone deals on the web, but if you want a straightforward offer without all of the confusing eligibility requirements, it’d be wise to look beyond the Big Three.

Prepaid wireless providers like Total Wireless typically have a ton of deals that can get you a new phone for cheap without all of fine print, such as this promotion that gets you the Motorola Edge (2025) for only 50 bucks when you sign up for an eligible two-month data plan. No trade-in or confusing contract to worry about, just good old-fashioned savings on one of our favorite Motorola phones.

Our favorite Motorola phone drops to $49.99 at Total Wireless

Powered by Verizon’s vast 5G network, Total Wireless specializes in providing users with a big carrier experience at an MVNO carrier price. Starting at $55 per month for a single line (before any AutoPay or multi-line discounts are applied), the 5G Unlimited plan gets you unlimited talk, text, and 5G data, plus a 15GB mobile hotspot and free calls/texts to over 180 countries worldwide.

You even get a few premium benefits you may not expect from a prepaid provider, such as roaming in over 30 countries, six free months of Disney Plus Premium, and a five-year price guarantee.

The Motorola Edge (2025), on the other hand, is a sleek flagship with a gorgeous 6.7-inch pOLED display, excellent battery life, and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance. The cameras are also considerably better than 2024’s model, and Motorola’s vegan leather back continues to impress as one of the most luxurious-feeling finishes in the industry.

Sure, performance on the Edge (2025) may lag behind Samsung and Google as far as general speeds are concerned, but the MediaTek processor with 8GB of RAM still holds its own with basic tasks.

The biggest problem with the phone is its lack of software support. With only two more guaranteed OS upgrades, the Edge (2025) may start to feel a bit sluggish and obsolete before other phones in this price range. Still, if you want a cheap Motorola flagship AND two months of a new wireless plan for less than 150 bucks, this Total Wireless deal may be the opportunity you’ve been searching for.
