Update 4:51 p.m. ET: iOS 26.4.1 fixes an iCloud syncing bug that impacted Apple’s apps as well as many third-party apps.
Apple has released iOS 26.4.1 for iPhone users today alongside iPadOS 26.4.1 for iPad. The update comes just over two weeks after the release of iOS 26.4.
iOS 26.4.1 details
iOS 26.4.1 is available now with build number 23E254. iPhone users can head to the Settings app, choose General, then choose Software Update to install it.
Apple’s release notes for iOS 26.4.1 are incredibly sparse, with the company saying: “This update provides bug fixes for your iPhone.” There aren’t any additional details about what Apple has changed or fixed.
iOS 26.4 was a relatively big update for iPhone, packing new features for Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Reminders, and more. It’s likely Apple is specifically focused on squashing a few bugs affecting those new features.
Apple’s security website says there are no published CVE entries for iOS 26.4.1.
Apple has only released updates for iOS and iPadOS today. There are new software releases for Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, or Apple Vision Pro.
