Cloudflare took down large swathes of the internet… again

Were you unable to access your favorite websites and services today? You’re not alone, as a major internet service provider experienced an outage, taking down a variety of websites and platforms. But the good news is that things should be back to normal by now.

Users reported that LinkedIn, Epic Games, Shopify, Android Authority, Canva, CrunchyRoll, Zoom, and a host of other services were inaccessible. Unfortunately, even the Downdetector website, used to track internet outages, briefly experienced major issues.

In any event, this latest outage came a few weeks after another Cloudflare-induced outage last month. That particular outage was a much longer affair, lasting several hours.
