TL;DR
- Google Photos integration has rolled out to Samsung TVs.
- You’ll be able to access your memories through the Daily Plus row, Daily Plus app launcher, and Daily Board widget.
- This integration is only available on eligible 2026 Samsung TVs.
Wish that you could view all of your favorite photos on the biggest screen in your home? Right before the end of 2025, Samsung announced it was working to bring Google Photos to its TVs. If you’ve been patiently waiting for this integration, then good news, Google Photos support has arrived.
Don’t want to miss the best from Android Authority?

Google has announced that Photos integration is here for Samsung TVs. With this integration, the app will “take full advantage of the unique capabilities and size the TV offers for a compelling, immersive experience.” Once you sign into Google Photos on your TV, you’ll find your pictures in the Daily Plus row, Daily Plus app launcher, and Daily Board widget.

As the Mountain View-based firm explains:
- Daily Plus row: You can scroll through a selection of your memories that refresh automatically.
- Daily Plus app launcher: When you click on the Google Photos app, you can find full-screen versions of your memories.
- Daily Board widget: You can also find memories on the widget.
If you have photos that you don’t want showing up on your TV, you can customize your experience. By going into the Privacy settings in Google Photos, you can select Standard mode or Guest mode. Standard mode is for a personalized experience, while Guest mode applies an automatic filter that hides potentially sensitive images and videos.
Not to be overlooked, there’s a small caveat to today’s announcement. This integration is not available to all Samsung TVs, only eligible 2026 models. Google did not provide a list of which Samsung TVs are eligible.
