iOS 26.4 adds new emoji to your iPhone, here’s the full list

iOS 26.4 launched today as the latest iPhone update, and it includes eight brand new emoji for users. Here are all the new emoji in iOS 26.4.

Eight new emoji added to iPhone in iOS 26.4

Every year, a group called the Unicode Consortium votes to approve a new batch of emoji that will later be added to the iPhone, as well as other platforms like Android, Windows, and more.

The iOS 26 batch of new emoji were officially approved last summer, but now they’ve only now been officially added to the iPhone with iOS 26.4.

The following eight new emoji are now available:

  • Ballet Dancer
  • Distorted Face
  • Fight Cloud
  • Hairy Creature
  • Landslide
  • Orca
  • Trombone
  • Treasure Chest

Even though Apple Intelligence enables iPhone users to create their own ‘Genmoji,’ the above emoji are important additions because they join the cross-platform emoji standard.

So now that iOS 26.4 has shipped, users can send and receive these emoji easily across various messaging platforms—including Android devices and more.

If you want a sneak peek into new emoji coming with iOS 27, the current candidates—which haven’t yet been approved—are available here. They include leftward and rightward thumb sign gestures, a meteor, smiley face with squinting eyes, an eraser, and more.

What do you think of iOS 26.4’s new emoji? Any potential favorites? Let us know in the comments.
