New T-Mobile deal gets you a free Pixel phone AND some earbuds this holiday season — here’s how it works

It’s no secret that T-Mobile deals come with a lot of fine print attached. In fact, unless you’re looking at a dirt-cheap MVNO, most promotions offered by wireless providers are going to involve some eligibility requirements. The question is whether the potential savings are worth the hassle.

Case in point: just in time for the holidays, T-Mobile is running a deal that gets you a free Google Pixel 10 AND a free pair of Google Pixel Buds 2A earbuds. All you need to do is add a line on the Experience More or Experience Beyond plan and you’ll get $799.99 in promo credits over 24 months. That’s enough to cover the full price of the phone, while the Pixel Buds appear as an instant discount when you add both items to your cart. There’s also some trade-in credit up for grabs if you’d rather go that route.

✅Recommended if: you’re already a T-Mobile user or you’re ready to switch to one of the best unlimited plans in the biz; you’re a heavy data user and you want a phone plan that comes with a lot of perks; you want a smartphone with great AI features and versatile camera tech; you like Pixel devices.

❌Skip this deal if: you’re trying to save money on your phone bill; you’d rather try out a more straightforward MVNO carrier; you prefer to buy phones unlocked.

The Experience More and Experience Beyond plans start at $90 and $105 per month for a single line, respectively, although you could drop that price down considerably by adding multiple lines and using AutoPay. Adding four lines of the Experience More plan, for example, will only shake out to around $42/month per line.

Both plans offer unlimited talk, text, and premium data on T-Mo’s legendary 5G network, plus you’ll get a free mobile hotspot, international benefits, and a five-year price guarantee. The plans even come with entertainment perks, such as free subscriptions to Netflix and Hulu.

The free phone included in the deal is 2025’s Google Pixel 10, a sleek, AI-boosted flagship with a gorgeous 6.3-inch OLED display, versatile cameras with an upgraded telephoto lens, and 12GB of RAM for lightning-fast performance. The phone also boasts full Qi2 support and seven years of guaranteed software support.

The Google Pixel Buds 2A, on the other hand, aren’t exactly groundbreaking, but they’re solid wireless earbuds with a comfortable design, customizable EQ settings, and up to 20 hours of battery life with the included charging case. They even come with active noise-cancellation (ANC), which explains the relatively expensive $129 price tag. Sure, there are other wireless earbuds that I’d recommend in an ideal world, but T-Mobile is offering the Pixel Buds 2A for free, which is nothing to scoff at.

This holiday deal isn’t for everyone, but if you’re already a T-Mobile user (or planning to switch), it presents a unique opportunity to get two great devices for free, and all you need to do is add the right line.
