One of the best Android phones of 2025 is already $250 OFF at Best Buy

If you missed all of the big holiday sales last month, you’re in luck: Best Buy is continuing the festivities by slashing a straight $250 off the unlocked Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, one of the best Android phones that money can buy today.

The Pixel phone deal is part of the retailer’s sitewide Winter Sale, ostensibly an attempt by Best Buy to ditch any leftover stock from the holidays. The discount drops the price of the AI-boosted powerhouse flagship down to $949, plus there’s an opportunity for an additional $100 off if you activate the phone through Verizon or AT&T.

✅Recommended if: you want a large phone with great cameras and cutting-edge onboard AI processing; you like the simplicity of unlocked phones and want a device with long software support.

❌Skip this deal if: you can get a better deal through your wireless carrier; you can afford to go with a (marginally) better phone, such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra; you suffer from PWM sensitivities.

The Pixel 10 lineup continues Google’s legacy of producing flagship phones that are sleek, powerful, and full of the buzziest software features. Usually priced around $1,199 unlocked, the Pixel 10 Pro XL boasts the generous 6.8-inch OLED 120Hz display that gives the phone its name, while under the hood you get an efficient Tensor G5 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a large 5,200mAh battery with Qi2 charging support.

As usual with Pixel devices, the camera system is where the Google Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL really shine. The 50MP main lens is a joy to use straight out of the box, but the phone reaches its full potential when you take advantage of its suite of AI-boosted software tools. These features include fun and useful tricks like Pro Res Zoom, Camera Coach, and Auto Best Take.
