Samsung’s QuickStar update lets you add custom backgrounds to your Quick Settings tiles

One UI 8.5 beta has now started rolling out to several older Galaxy flagships, so plenty of users can enjoy the new update. If you’re testing the new release on your Galaxy phone, you’d be glad to learn that the QuickStar Good Lock module is also receiving an update, bringing along a bunch of new features.

Tech enthusiast Tarun Vats shared on X that QuickStar is being updated to v10.0.04.26. This release brings the following new features to One UI 8.5 builds:

• Panel style customizer
• Landscape layout settings
• Control bar level display
• Panel item resizing

Tarun also shared the following images, which show the panel toggle resizing in action:

Eagle-eyed users will also see the numeric levels on the various sliders, which are controlled by the “Show bar levels” toggle in QuickStar. You can also see custom background images for various toggles.

If you’d like to try it out, there’s also a download link in the shared post. However, note that the new features will be visible only in One UI 8.5 builds, so there’s little point in installing this APK on older One UI 8 builds.
