This ‘surprising’ Motorola phone comes with a built-in stylus — and AT&T wants to give you one for free

Looking for a sweet Android phone deal but sick of all the confusing fine print? AT&T has your back with a new offer that’ll get you a free Moto G Stylus (2025) with ANY Unlimited plan, whether you’re a new customer or you’ve been with the company for years.

Sure, it’s never THAT difficult to find a wireless carrier deal that gets you a free phone, but this AT&T promotion is noteworthy for its simplicity; add a line or switch to a new unlimited plan and the carrier will give you enough promo credits over 36 months to cover the full price of the phone. That’s all there is to it. The only catch is that you’ll need to pay the $35 activation fee on the device and any sales tax that’s applicable in your area.

✅Recommended if: you want a versatile stylus phone without paying an arm and a leg for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra; you like phones with large screens and great battery life; you’re an AT&T customer or willing to switch.

❌Skip this deal if: you can afford a more powerful Android phone; you’re happy with your current phone plan; you’re looking for a trade-in opportunity or unlocked phone deal.

Just like its predecessor, the Moto G Stylus (2025) is a much better phone than its low price might suggest. Straight out of the box, the first thing you’ll notice is the lovely 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display and the stylus pen that’s discreetly embedded into the bottom of the phone.

The device also boasts that nice vegan leather back that most Motorola phones have been sporting in recent years, giving the Moto G Stylus (2025) a luxurious finish that belies its sub-$300 price tag. You even get an IP68 water-and-dust resistance rating, which is a rarity at this price point.

Things are just as impressive under the hood, as the Moto G Stylus is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 with 8GB or RAM. You can get a more-powerful chipset in other cheap phones, such as the Google Pixel 9a, but it actually performs surprisingly well when opening apps and playing mobile games. The stylus phone also boasts a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery that should last over a day on a single charge, plus fast 68W wired charging when you do need to give it some juice.

Of course, it’s possible to find more powerful Android phones under $400, but if you want the versatility of a stylus phone, the gorgeous display of a flagship, and battery life that lasts all day on a single charge, the Moto G Stylus (2025) won’t disappoint.
