Verizon has extended the deal that gets you a FREE Galaxy S26 Plus, but you’re running out of time

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series has officially arrived, but Verizon has decided to extend one of my favorite preorder deals a little while longer. Head to the carrier’s site and add a line with the Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plan and you’ll get $1,099.99 to put towards the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus. That effectively makes the flagship phone free, no trade-in required!

The Galaxy S26 Plus sits right in between the base model S26 and the super-powered Galaxy S26 Ultra, offering users the best of both worlds with a powerful Snapdragon processor, 12GB of RAM, and seven years of OS and security upgrades guaranteed. The free phone deal ends on March 18th, however, so don’t wait too long if you’re interested!

Get a FREE Galaxy S26 Plus with new line at Verizon

Verizon deals are far from uncommon, but it’s pretty unusual to see the carrier give away a new flagship phone like this without a trade-in requirement — especially after the preorder period wraps up.

You don’t even need to sign up for Verizon’s most expensive plan, either: Unlimited Plus is a mid-tier plan that gives users unlimited talk, text, and 5G Ultra Wideband data, plus a 50GB mobile hotspot and coverage in Mexico and Canada. The plan currently starts at $70 per month for a single line, but you can drop that price down significantly by adding multiple lines for the whole family.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus is powered by the ultra-efficient Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, plus you get a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, long battery life with upgraded wireless charging, and all of the latest Galaxy AI software features.

The Galaxy S26 Plus may not be a massive upgrade over its predecessor, but the phone feels modern and performant where it counts. And if you’re planning to upgrade your wireless service anyway, let Verizon take the wheel and you could get a great Android phone for completely free.
