Rebuild Challenge 2025: Bigger, Better, & Ready for Your Next Project

AutoBidMaster is thrilled to announce the Rebuild Challenge 2025, launching August 1. This year, we’re once again calling on builders and creatives to showcase their rebuild creativity for a chance to win some truly impressive prizes.

What the Challenge Involves

Here’s how you take part:

  1. Buy any salvage vehicle within the last 6 years.
  2. Photograph it with showing your skills and vision – the more creative, the better!
  3. Submit your completed build before the deadline.

Submissions go through two rounds of judging. First, a panel of over 100 AutoBidMaster auto and logistics experts will evaluate all submitted entries. The top 10 will then be showcased on Instagram, where public voting will determine the final winners.

Why Rebuilding Matters

Taking on a rebuild means more than simply fixing a damaged car; it’s also about reviving something meaningful, saving money, and creatively making it your own. By rebuilding, you’re also fueling an ecosystem, meaning:

  • Mechanics and body shops get business
  • Salvage yards and parts suppliers stay active
  • Haulers, logistics providers, and local small businesses all benefit
  • Contributing $270 billion in labor income and $435 billion to the U.S. GDP!

This aligns with AutoBidMaster’s mission to be a catalyst for local communities and the American automotive economy as well as a bidding platform.

Throwback to 2024

The 2024 Rebuild Challenge was launched with over 80 entries – the winning build? Kennedy M. (aka “Autobody Scotty”) took home the top prize for his 2017 Dodge Charger RT Ute, a transformation from salvaged wreck to attention-grabbing show-ride painted in vibrant green.

Some highlights:

  • 80+ submissions, all judged by AutoBidMaster’s panel
  • 3rd place: Jared S.’s 2020 Corvette restoration.
  • 2nd place: Jason N.’s creative 2020 Dodge Promaster camper conversion.
  • 1st place: Kennedy’s Charger RT Ute, praised for craftsmanship & originality.

The Prizes

Big rewards are up for grabs in the Rebuild Challenge 2025, both in cash and recognition. Whether you’re aiming for the top spot or standing out in a specific category, your hard work won’t go unnoticed.

Main Prizes:

  • 1st Place: $2,000 + 1-Year Premium Membership
  • 2nd Place: $1,000 + 1-Year Premium Membership
  • 3rd Place: $500 + 1-Year Premium Membership
